TFK announces three exciting new international partnerships

Taskforce Kiwi is proud to announce three new international partnerships which will further support our disaster response capacities on a global scale.

Red Lightning is a US based disaster response NGO with a great track record of supporting impacted communities around the globe.

Their mission is to solve disaster and medical equity problems through strategic partnerships.

Much like Taskforce Kiwi they focus on providing trained volunteers to ensure timely and effective direct assistance to communities, wherever and whenever it is needed.

REACT is UK based emergency and crisis response charity, operating in the UK and around the world.

REACT repurpose the hard-earned skills and experience of military veterans, emergency services personnel, and others who simply want to make a difference, turning them into exceptionally agile and resilient humanitarians, capable of rapidly deploying when people need immediate and urgent relief. This was demonstrated earlier this year, when they provided on-ground support during Taskforce Kiwi's relief operations following Cyclone Gabrielle.

Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation is the country's major private sector coordinator for disaster risk reduction and management.

PDRF states that this partnership will enhance disaster risk management and resilience for communities in both the Philippines and New Zealand, by addressing response gaps during large-scale humanitarian operations, holding mutual regular connectivity tests and simulation training exercises, and strengthening Private Sector engagement in disaster risk reduction and disaster risk management through the exchange of experts, hosting study visits, and more.
