Mitsubishi Motors NZ formally partners with Taskforce Kiwi

Two days before TFK's first rotation of volunteers departed for Hawke's Bay in the immediate aftermath of Cyclone Gabrielle, a call was put in to Mitsubishi Motors NZ requesting assistance. Within 48 hours of that call three Triton utes were ready to be picked up, and this marked the start of ten weeks of invaluable support by Mitsubishi.

After their generous support during our Cyclone Gabrielle efforts in Hawke's Bay, Taskforce Kiwi is now proud to formally partner with Mitsubishi Motors NZ Ltd.

MMNZ is providing TFK with an ongoing fleet of three new Triton 4WD vehicles, which will be based across the country to assist with initial response, as well as training and engagement.

Additional vehicles will also be kept on standby by MMNZ for use as required during readiness, response and recovery operations.
